Panaji: Monsoon showers lashed Goa on Monday, with Valpoi recording 124.2mm in 24 hours, the only station in the state to receive very heavy rainfall.According to the India meteorological department (IMD) Goa, Sanguem recorded 75.3mm, while Dharbandora received 68.2mm, placing both stations in the heavy rainfall category.Several other parts of the state experienced moderate rainfall.
