Prayagraj: Vehicle owners in Uttar Pradesh will no longer have to rely on conventional paper-based registration certificates (RCs), as the state transport department will soon introduce ATM card-sized smart registration cards equipped with electronic chips and QR codes even for old vehicle owners.The new system came into effect on Aug 1 and is mandatory for all newly purchased vehicles. A fire team safely rescued the man from the drain in Shastri Nagar Ghaziabad: A 47-year-old man was rescued from a drain in Block I, Shastri Nagar, on Friday.
