Bengaluru: The department of school education and literacy has announced an intensive statewide inspection programme to monitor school preparedness, enrolment, infrastructure, and learning standards ahead of 2026-27 academic year.In a circular issued by the commissioner of school education Monday, the department directed officials to conduct surprise school visits, review teaching-learning readiness, and ensure institutions are fully prepared before the June 1 reopening.According to the circular, district- and taluk-level teams led by deputy directors, block education officers, and other officials will carry out inspections throughout the academic year, with special focus on schools identified as lagging in learning outcomes.Officials have been…
