New Delhi: The number of cooling zones and mobile relief facilities is set to increase further this week as the Delhi govt expands its heatwave response measures amid continuing severe weather conditions in the capital.At present, 14 cooling zones are operational across the city, including five in Old Delhi, five in East Delhi and one each in the North East, North, Central and Central North districts. Ahmedabad: Fuel prices were raised for the fourth time in just 11 days on Monday, pushing petrol rates in Ahmedabad beyond the Rs 100-per-litre threshold. State-run oil marketing companies revised retail fuel prices with effect from 6am on May 25. Petrol prices in Ahmedabad rose by Rs 2.60 per litre from Rs 99.23 to Rs 101.83, while diesel rates increased by Rs 2.79 per litre from Rs 95.13 to Rs 97.92.The latest revision comes barely two days after the previous increase on May 23, following earlier hikes announced on May 15 and May 19.
