Pune: Two months after Maharashtra’s cooperation department launched a fully online cooperative society registration system, 23 housing societies across the state have completed the entire approval process through the Aaple Sarkar portal, signalling a shift from the earlier paperwork-heavy system that required repeated visits to deputy registrar offices.State cooperation department officials told TOI on Friday that the portal has so far received 304 applications for society name reservation — the first stage of registration. Panaji: Goa police have revamped the anti-narcotic cell (ANC) intelligence-gathering network by transferring several personnel to induct fresh staff and strengthen action against drug dealers and peddlers. Officers who had completed over four years in the ANC were moved out, affecting around 45% of the unit. Patna: On the National Cyber Crime Reporting Portal (NCRP), Bihar registered 59,579 complaints of cyber financial fraud in the first four months of 2026. The state has ranked fourth in the country in the registration of online cyber crime complaints and FIRs since 2024.The total reported amount of cyberfraud stood at Rs199 crore, of which Rs51 crore, or 26.04%, was put on hold.So far, Rs7 crore has been refunded to victims.
