Coimbatore: Two men were arrested on Monday in connection with several house break-ins in the district. Police also recovered 40 sovereigns of gold jewellery linked to several house burglary cases. The arrested have been identified as S Karthik, 34, and M Saravanan, 25, both from Ramanathapuram district. Police arrested them when investigating a burglary complaint filed by Raghav Krishnan, 32, of Periyanaickenpalayam in July 2025. Gurgaon: Days after a clash between two groups of students at a private university in the Manesar area, family members of an injured student and villagers staged a protest on Monday.
