Mysuru: Mysuru zoo Saturday said 10-year-old zebra Prachi died two days after giving birth to a female foal.Prachi was acquired from the Zoological Centre, Ramat Gan, Israel, in Sept 2018, and played a key role in the zoo’s conservation and breeding programme, successfully delivering six foals.Zoo authorities said Prachi was pregnant and was suffering from intestinal obstruction. Despite continuous veterinary supervision, her condition worsened due to complications caused by enteroliths.
