New Delhi: In a major overhaul of the city’s public distribution framework, Delhi govt has notified Delhi Food Security Rules, 2026, raising the annual family income eligibility limit for ration card holders from Rs 1 lakh to Rs 1.2 lakh. Those applying for new cards will have to submit a family income certificate issued by Delhi revenue department. Ahmedabad: The State Examination Board announced the results of the National Means-cum-Merit Scholarship (NMMS) examination. A total of 2,18,305 students registered for the exam, of whom 2,07,201 appeared. The NMMS scheme, implemented by the central govt, aims to support meritorious students from economically weaker sections studying in Class 8 and to reduce dropout rates at the secondary and higher secondary levels.
