MUMBAI: As the BMC prepares to table its 2026-27 financial budget later this month, a reply to a Right to Information (RTI) query filed by the TOI offers a snapshot of how aggressively the country’s richest civic body spent on infrastructure this year.In the 2025-26 budget, the BMC earmarked a hefty Rs 43,162 crore for capital expenditure. Ahmedabad: The Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation (AMC) sells plots reserved for sale in the city’s town planning (TP) schemes through online auctions. Prayagraj: Police have identified the body of a young woman found near a canal culvert in the Mauaima area on Friday.The deceased has been identified as Muskan Mishra (24) of Mailha village in Bahariya. Police investigations revealed that she was allegedly murdered in Pratapgarh and her body was dumped nearly 17 Km away in Mauaima to conceal the crime.
