Nagpur: Lloyds Metals and Energy Limited (LMEL) plans to lay down a 950-km iron ore slurry pipeline connecting its mines in Surjagarh Hills of Gadchiroli in eastern Vidarbha to Dighi port in Raigargh district in Konkan. Once ready, it would be the world’s longest, beating even Brazil’s Minas-Rio slurry pipeline which at present is the largest in the world covering a distance of 529km. Vadodara: A leopard was killed in an accident with an unidentified vehicle on the Indore-Ahmedabad national highway near Dantiya village in Dahod district.The dead leopard was found on the road early on Saturday morning. It is believed that the leopard may have strayed onto the road in search of prey or water.The leopard was spotted by a patrolling team keeping an eye on the highway.
