Mangaluru: DC Darshan HV instructed National Highway Authority of India (NHAI) officials to take swift action to resolve issues on national highways. Panaji: The Goa State Pollution Control Board (GSPCB) has directed two establishments along the Bardez coast to shut operations for two months as their noise levels were found to have exceeded the permissible limit on several occasions. Bathinda: The National Green Tribunal (NGT), taking up pollution in water bodies, stated that the Punjab Pollution Control Board (PPCB) had in an affidavit disclosed that IIT-Ropar was awarded the study of ‘Source Apportionment and Comprehensive Investigation of Pollution in Buddha Dariya’ at a cost of nearly Rs 1.45 crore.
