Washim: Nineteen persons were injured, four of them critically, when a private bus rammed a truck on Samruddhi Expressway in Washim district around 3am on Wednesday.The Sanjay Travels bus, ferrying 34 passengers from Nagpur to Pune, hit the rear of a tipper truck near Kavardari on the stretch between Shelu Bazar and Malegaon. Thiruvananthapuram: Forest and wildlife department announced a series of urgent measures to address the growing threat of wildlife attacks on human settlements across the state.A special meeting of MLAs representing constituencies sharing forest boundaries was convened under the chairmanship of forest and wildlife minister Shibu Baby John to discuss long-term solutions to human-wildlife conflict.
