KANPUR: In a first-of-its-kind initiative, citizens will be able to enter their own details for the upcoming Census 2027 through a self-enumeration process. The facility will be available in Uttar Pradesh from May 7 to May 21, allowing residents to register their personal and family information online from their homes.According to district magistrate Jitendra Pratap Singh, the digital self-enumeration process marks a significant step towards modernising census operations. Ludhiana: The Ludhiana Improvement Trust (LIT) has issued a public notice for the applicants who applied for flats under Atal Apartment scheme to reach Nehru Sidhant Kendra on April 14. Mangaluru: After a considerable gap, ‘MV New Legacy’ carrying bagged sugar for export called at New Mangalore Port, marking the resumption of bagged sugar export operations. The vessel, loaded with 25,000 metric tonnes of Indian refined white sugar, arrived and berthed at the New Mangalore Port Authority (NMPA) on April 9.Port officials said the vessel’s call signified a revival of bagged sugar exports at the port.
