Mysuru: As compared to previous years, dengue and Chikungunya cases came down drastically during the pre-monsoon season this year in the south Karnataka districts. Pune: The ambitious ‘One State, One Registration’ initiative, which would allow people to register properties at any of the 519 offices across Maharashtra, faces significant delays after it encountered technical hurdles and activists flagged security concerns, revenue department officials told TOI.Initially included in govt’s 100-day programme, the scheme has been partially rolled out with intra-district registration launched on May 1. Patna: In a move to strengthen cyber safety and investigation capabilities, a research and development centre for cyber security and cyber forensics was inaugurated on Friday on the campus of the Economic Offences Unit (EOU) in Patna.The centre was formally opened by additional director general (ADG) of EOU, Nayyar Hasnain Khan, in collaboration with the Centre for Development of Advanced Computing (CDAC).The inauguration follows the signing of a memorandum of understanding (MOU) on Sept 4, 2024 between EOU Patna, Bihar Police and CDAC Patna.
