T’puram: Poonthura police arrested a 27-year-old man accused of attempting to murder a Muttathara native in retaliation for filing a police complaint against him. The accused was identified as Vishnu alias Makan Vishnu, of Muttathara. Police said the incident occurred near Jawahar Mosque in Beemapalli ward around 5.30pm on Sunday.
