Chandrapur: A sub-adult female leopard was killed after being struck by a train near Wihirgaon Naka in Maharashtra’s Rajura taluka on Saturday morning, once again highlighting the growing threat to wildlife along railway corridors cutting through forest areas.The carcass of the 18-month-old leopard was found along a South Central Railway track around 8.40am within Vihirgaon beat, under Chanakha round of Rajura range. Hyderabad: Thieves stole an entire SBI ATM in Yellareddypet town of Rajanna Sircilla district early on Saturday. After prying it open in a nearby forest area, the miscreants decamped with over Rs 6 lakh in cash. Hyderabad: An ambulance carrying a patient and her husband from Hyderabad to Adilabad met with an accident after a private travels bus rammed into it from behind at Bhiknoor in Kamareddy district, killing the ambulance driver and the patient and leaving her husband injured.The accident occurred around 12.45 am on National Highway-44. The deceased were identified as Shaik Sardar, 33, ambulance driver, and Saleha Banu, 60, who was being transported home.
