Jaipur: One person was killed and 2 others injured after a speeding car went out of control and collided head-on with a bus on Jaipur-Dausa highway in Bassi area Saturday, police said.The accident occurred near Banskhoh Phatak when the car, travelling from Dausa towards Jaipur, veered into the opposite lane after crossing the divider and hit an oncoming bus, police said.One occupant of the car died on the spot, while 2 others sustained serious injuries and were admitted to a hospital. Some passengers on the bus suffered minor injuries, police said.A traffic jam nearly 2-km-long was reported on the highway following the accident.Personnel from Bassi police station reached the spot and the damaged vehicles were removed with a crane, police said.
