Vadodara: Burglars struck two temples in the Manjalpur area of the city, breaking open donation boxes and decamping with cash, police said on Friday. Two separate cases have been registered and an investigation is underway.According to police, the first incident took place at Sai Mandir near Jupiter Crossroads, where burglars broke open the donation box and stole around Rs 1.5 lakh. The theft occurred four days ago, but temple authorities discovered it later and subsequently approached the police.In another incident, burglars targeted the Jalaram Temple, stealing the entire donation box before fleeing the spot.Both incidents were captured on CCTV cameras installed at the temples, police said. Notably, this is the third burglary incident reported in the city in the past three weeks, raising concerns over security.
