Pune: A gang of burglars struck at Thorandale village in Ambegaon taluka, about 70 km from Pune, in the early hours of Tuesday, killing an elderly man Damodar Minde, and attempting to steal valuables from four houses in the area. Minde was staying alone in the house. His two sons are settled in Panvel and Narayangaon, while his married daughter stays in a nearby village, police said. tnn
