BTC cancels remaining races of ongoing winter meeting

The Stewards of the Bangalore Turf Club have decided to cancel the remaining races of the ongoing Bangalore winter meeting 2025-26.

This was done in view of two horses stationed at Bangalore Turf Club Limited testing positive for Glanders disease and the Karnataka government notification on December 16 declaring as it as a notified area as per section 6 of “The Prevention and Control of Infectious and Contagious Diseases in Animal Act 2009 and clause – 4.2 of the National Action Plan for Control and Eradication of Glanders in India (Revised 2025) by DAHD, GOI Delhi.
