HYDERABAD: In view of the Bonalu celebrations on Sunday, Rachakonda police commissioner G Sudheer Babu has ordered the closure of all liquor outlets within the Commissionerate limits from 6 am on July 20 (Sunday) to 6 am on July 21 (Monday). He warned that strict action would be taken against any violations. Authorities have urged citizens to cooperate with police and follow all safety protocols.Meanwhile, with Bonalu festivities in Old City, especially at the historic Lal Darwaza Sri Simhavahini Mahankali Temple, the state govt has declared Monday a holiday for all educational institutions. This will give students a two-day break, while govt offices will also remain closed on Monday.
