Chennai: Police conducted searches at the residences of actors Rajinikanth and Dhanush in Poes Garden following a bomb threat email received at the DGP control room. No explosives were found, and the threat was declared a hoax.The alert was received on Friday, after which Teynampet police, along with the Bomb Detection and Disposal Squad, reached the spot and carried out searches with the assistance of sniffer dogs.Officials conducted checks for more than five hours at both premises.Police said the threat email was intended to create panic. Teynampet police registered a case.
