Bokaro: In a unique move aimed at promoting community interaction, the Bokaro Steel Plant (BSL) will organise a food street for city residents on Mar 22. The event, which will be held along the road connecting Gandhi Chowk in Sector-4 to Bokaro Mall, is expected to attract large numbers of visitors, the PSU said.Manikant Dhan, chief of communications at BSL, said, “Preparations for the event have already began. The event will feature a wide range of attractive food stalls offering delicacies of Jharkhand, along with popular dishes from parts of the country.” The event will also offer a platform to the local entrepreneurs and food vendors to display their items and culinary skills, Dhan added.Bokaro Steel City is often referred to as “Mini India”, as people from various parts of the country live and work here while contributing to the production of world-class steel. Reflecting this diversity, the event will showcase the rich food culture of different regions.
