Bokaro: A car was set on fire and a two-wheeler was damaged as two groups of men clashed at a school ground in Sector-8B under Sector-4 police station late on Tuesday night. Two men were also injured in the clash, which broke out over an old dispute, police said on Wednesday.Residents said two groups of men had an argument, which soon turned into a scuffle. During the clash, a few men torched the car, which allegedly belonged to a member of the rival group. An FIR was registered against three named individuals and 25 unidentified people on Wednesday, the police said.Teams from several police stations soon rushed to the spot to begin investigation. CCTV footage from nearby areas is being examined to identify those involved in the violence, it said on Wednesday. Bokaro SP Harvinder Singh said that the clash also left a youth, identified as Bikky Kumar, injured. “Police also received information that another youth, Kunal Singh, had gone missing after the incident. However, he was later traced by the police. Kunal told police that he could not return home as he had sustained injuries during the clash,” he said.“Based on a written complaint filed by Kunal, Sector-4 police station has registered a case against Bittu Kumar Yadav, Sumant Kumar Yadav and 20-25 unidentified persons. Police have arrested one accused of Pilgadhia Khatal. Further investigation is underway,” SP added.
