Bokaro: Bokaro deputy commissioner Ajay Nath Jha on Tuesday ordered that Feb salaries of officials absent from the district-level coordination committee meeting without notice would be withheld.He also directed departments to submit expenditure reports for the current financial year by Thursday and asked block development officers to close inactive MNREGA projects.The directive was issued during a review meeting at the collectorate, where Jha reviewed the progress of several govt schemes. Officials were asked to speed up pending works and ensure time-bound completion of projects. “The meeting reviewed pending social audit action taken reports, Aadhaar seeding of 6,788 beneficiaries under Mukhyamantri Maiya Samman Yojana and Mudra loans for sakhi mandals,” said Jha.
