Patna: The BJP has planned a weeklong celebration from April 6 with various events to mark its 45th foundation day, said Bihar BJP president Sanjay Saraogi on Saturday.He said the opposition lacks policy, leadership and intent and they are engaging solely in the politics of confusion and falsehoods. In contrast, the BJP practices a politics rooted in trust and development, Saraogi said and added that BJP would conduct “Gaon-Basti Chalo” campaign from April 7 to 12 to connect with the people and apprise them of the work undertaken by the NDA govt at the Centre and in Bihar. “BJP is actively engaged at the organizational level to make Bihar a developed state. We will achieve this goal at all costs,” Saraogi said.“BJP stands as a synonym for development, trust and nation’s triumph. BJP is not merely a political organization, but it is an ideology with primary objectives of nation-building and public welfare,” he said.Saraogi said a series of events will be organized across the state from April 6. A ‘Vikas Yatra’ (development march) would be held on April 6. On April 8 and 9, a conference for active members will be organized at the district office. Senior party workers will be felicitated and prominent citizens will be reached out to and honoured during the week, he said.Also present at the press conference were BJP state general secretary and incharge of the foundation day celebrations Radha Mohan Sharma, former MLA and spokesperson Usha Vidyarthi, spokesperson Prem Ranjan Patel and BJP state media incharge Danish Eqbal.
