Patna: BJP leaders hailed the appointment of former party chief and assembly Speaker, Nand Kishore Yadav, as the governor of Nagaland. They also welcomed the new Bihar governor, Lt general (retd) Syed Ata Hasnain.Legislative assembly Speaker Prem Kumar extended his congratulations and best wishes to Nand Kishore. “The service you have rendered to the people of Bihar, both as an MLA and in other constitutional positions, is exemplary. He expressed his gratitude to the central leadership for honouring the senior BJP leader from Bihar. “Nand Kishore ji has had a long and rich political career since Jan Sangh days. He has served as a seven-time MLA, a minister and Speaker of the legislative assembly in Bihar.
