Lucknow: Debutants Awadh Eagles stunned two-time champions Speed Chargers to lift the Lucknow Golf League trophy at the Lucknow Golf Course on Sunday. The title clash was decided in a tense three-hole playoff after both teams finished tied.In the playoff, Speed Chargers struck first, winning the opening hole. Awadh Eagles bounced back in the second round with the help of a superb birdie by Anand Shukla. The decider saw Shukla hold his nerve to card a nett par, sealing the championship for Awadh Eagles. In the third-place match, Wellness Warriors edged past BBD Rangers. RS Nanda of Hind Warriors was named Player of the League. Aditya Pratap Singh and Sushant Mishra (Speed Chargers) won the Most Valuable Pair award, while Vinai Shukla and Santosh Kumar claimed the Veteran Category honour.
