Prayagraj: Nawabganj police on Sunday arrested two gangsters, Krishna Kumar alias Bachcha Yadav (26) and Umesh Chandra Gupta alias Billoo (40), residents of Nawabganj near Dhanaram Ka Purwa area. The two gangsters were operating an organised racket of auto-lifting and reselling stolen vehicles after changing their chasis and engine numbers, with forged documents to boot. They were booked under section 2/3 of UP Gangster Act. Police said Krishna Kumar, with 11 cases pending against him, was the gang leader.
