New Delhi: The National Investigation Agency (NIA) on Wednesday said it had arrested an accused, absconding for the past three years in a case involving the Popular Front of India (PFI), on arrival from the UAE at the Cochin International Airport.The case dates back to 2022, when the Centre had launched a nationwide crackdown on the PFI and banned the organisation.Moideenkutty P, a resident of Kerala’s Malappuram district, was taken into custody by an NIA team at the airport, the antiterrorism agency said in a statement.
