Pune: The city traffic police have generated fines worth Rs3.83 crore against 1,32,485 motorists for various traffic violations over the past three months, with active participation from citizens. “The Pune Traffic Police (PTP) application can be used by citizens to upload photographs of vehicles involved in different types of traffic offences. Based on these submissions, fines are generated,” Pune police commissioner Amitesh Kumar said. So far, 93,190 people have downloaded the application, police said.
