NAMAKKAL: A fire broke out at a godown near Pallipalayam in Namakkal district on Saturday, destroying plastic raw materials worth around Rs 1 crore. The godown belonged to Sakhubar Ali of Periyar Nagar. Raw materials required for the manufacture of plastic products had been stored in the godown.
