Mysuru: An one-man committee, led by retired high court judge Justice BA Patil, on Wednesday began an inquiry into alleged irregularities at Karnataka State Open University (KSOU).According to university sources, Justice Patil arrived at the campus at 11am and started the inquiry. Pune: Over 16 lakh Std X students are set to appear for the Secondary School Certificate (SSC) examinations from Feb 20 to March 18 this year at 5,111 centres across the state. Panaji: After the formation of the third district, Kushavati, the Indira Gandhi National Open University (Ignou), Goa regional centre, has decided to open its eighth study centre at Govt College Quepem. Until now, the students from Canacona, Sanguem and Quepem talukas had to travel to the study centre in Margao and for arts programmes, they had to travel for guidance as far as the Panaji study centre.
