Bengaluru: A miscreant wearing a mask tried to steal money from an Axis Bank ATM in Kasturba Nagar recently, but was caught on CCTV camera. He managed to flee the premises. The bank manager told police the incident happened at 12.40am on Feb 8 in the ATM kiosk off Mysuru Road. The miscreant smashed the ATM machine but failed to open the cassette and left the kiosk around 1am.Although no money was stolen, the machine was damaged, the manager said.
