Kanpur: In a bid to ease traffic congestion, a 94km Ring Road is under construction around the city. On Friday, regional project manager Gautam Vishal inspected package one of the project to assess progress. It was reported that the construction of package one will be completed by Sept 2026, with 10kms of the road already finished.The six-lane road is expected to alleviate 60% of the city’s internal traffic congestion. Mangaluru: Dr K Sudhakar Shetty, who served the department of psychiatry, Fr Muller Hospital, Mangaluru, for 52 long years, passed away due to age-related illness on Saturday. He was 93. Pune: Daily commuters are unhappy over the poor condition of several roads that were not part of the cycling event held last month and have urged the Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) to take up repair work on those stretches on priority.The civic body repaired and resurfaced about 75-km roads across the city ahead of the event.
