A new species of dragonfly discovered in Kerala has been named Lyriothemis keralensis in appreciation of the State’s rich biodiversity. Researchers have discovered a new species of dragonfly from Kerala and named it Lyriothemis keralensis, recognising the State’s exceptional biodiversity. NEW DELHI: Supreme Court said Monday it would under no circumstance allow stalling of special intensive revision (SIR) of voter rolls in 12 states but said it was open to suggestions to ensure genuine voters are not left out, reports Dhananjay Mahapatra. Mumbai: Directorate of Revenue Intelligence (DRI) busted a gold smuggling racket and arrested two ‘couriers’ with 5kg of gold worth nearly Rs 10 crore in Kalbadevi on Sunday.Based on a tipoff, DRI’s Mumbai unit laid a trap at Kalbadevi’s Dhanji Street and caught Swapnil Jadhav and Shreyas Salunkhe, who had 13 pieces of melted gold bars wrapped in newspapers.
