Unpaid e-challans may block vehicle services after 75 days Ahmedabad: Vehicle owners in Gujarat who do not clear traffic e-challans within 75 days may face suspension of licence and vehicle registration-related services on the Parivahan portal under a next-generation challan system introduced by state police on Aug 12.The upgraded system gives motorists a formal online process to contest e-challans they believe have been issued incorrectly. Nagpur: Customs authorities at Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar International Airport in Nagpur have seized nearly 15kg of smuggled gold worth over ₹9 crore from passengers arriving on international flights from Sharjah and Doha over the past three-and-a-half years, according to information obtained under the Right to Information (RTI) Act by city-based activist Abhay Kolharkar.The data, covering the period from January 2023 to July 2026, shows that gold was the most smuggled commodity intercepted at the airport.
