Chennai: Officers of the Central Crime Branch (CCB) of the Avadi police arrested an employee of the Tamil Nadu Veterinary and Animal Sciences (Tanuvas) University for embezzling 2.85 crore from the institution by forging signatures on bank documents.Vadivel, an employee at the university’s Madhavaram facility, forged the signature of Tanuvas director on NEFT forms and transferred 2.85 crore from the university’s bank account, police said.
