Ludhiana: A fire broke out in a hosiery unit at Daba Road early on Thursday. As flames spread quickly, the stock kept inside was gutted. Luckily, there were no injuries or casualties. With the large stock stored inside impeding their efforts, fire officials took three hours to control the conflagration. Mysuru: Dog squads, an integral part of the policing system, are playing a significant role in assisting police in cracking various crimes. Noida: Greater Noida Industrial Development Authority (GNIDA) extended its door-to-door garbage collection programme to Badalpur village to make it a zero-waste and self-reliant village.
