Patna: Bike-borne miscreants snatched Rs6 lakh from Lalan Kumar, owner of a prominent two-wheeler showroom in Patna district, in broad daylight on Thursday. Vadodara: Kapurai police arrested a motorbike thief on Thursday after receiving information that a stolen two-wheeler was being ridden in the area.Police said they intercepted the suspect and asked him to produce documents for the motorbike. Varanasi: A man in Mirzapur has been booked for allegedly killing six puppies by throwing them into a well in Dharampur village under the Chunar police station area of the district. The accused, Sarvesh Singh alias Kattan, has been booked under section 325 (maiming or killing of an animal) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS) and section 11 of the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (PCA) Act, 1960.
