Vadodara: A police sub-inspector, allegedly driving under the influence of alcohol, knocked down a pedestrian and rammed his vehicle into another car on the Godhra-Lunawada highway near Bhayasar village in Lunawada taluka of Mahisagar district on Wednesday evening.The incident occurred when Mansukh Nayak (60), a caretaker of shops located along the highway, was returning to his room after finishing work. THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: A car allegedly driven by Malayalam film actor Maniyanpilla Raju was involved in a hit-and-run incident while exiting the Trivandrum Club late Thruday night, police said. The vehicle allegedly struck a two-wheeler and left the scene without stopping. Two persons riding the motorcycle were injured and admitted to hospital.
