Bengaluru:Bengaluru: Passengers using Kempegowda International Airport will have to pay a revised user development fee (UDF) from Sep1, 2026, with charges applicable to both inbound and outbound passengers for the first time. The revised tariff follows the Airports Economic Regulatory Authority of India’s (AERA) order for the fourth control period (FY27–FY31).As per the tariff order, from Sept 1, 2026 to March 31, 2027, domestic outbound passengers will pay Rs 300 as UDF, while those arriving will pay Rs 125. Chennai: Law minister R Nirmalkumar announced in the assembly on Friday that the state govt would establish 17 new special courts for the exclusive trial of Pocso cases at a cost of ₹25 crore.The decision has been taken considering the huge backlog of cases, Nirmalkumar said. While Madurai would have two new courts, the rest would be set up in Chengalpet, Coimbatore, Cuddalore, Dharmapuri, Dindigul, Erode, Kallakurichi, Kanyakumari, Krishnagiri, Salem, Tiruvallur and Tirunelveli districts.
