Ranchi: The Jharkhand high court on Thursday rapped the Jharkhand govt for its inability to fill up the vacant post of Jharkhand Public Service Commission (JPSC) chairman and other members. It directed the govt to inform the court the timeframe by when the vacant posts would be filled up. Gorakhpur: Police detained Samajwadi Party member Jafar Amin alias Dakku in connection with a land possession dispute in Rajghat’s Khokhar Tola area after a video of the incident, showing women being assaulted and abused, went viral on social media on Tuesday evening. Kolkata: Nepal Police has called for DNA profiles from children, siblings or parents of those missing in the Nepal flash flood that has prompted families of missing tourists from Bengal to begin arranging submission of genetic samples for comparison.
