Surat: Flood relief distribution in the city and surrounding rural areas has been accelerated under state govt directives to ensure quick financial assistance to affected residents. The district administration has so far disbursed more than Rs 19.86 crore to 88,796 affected people across six city talukas.It includes cash dole assistance totalling Rs 5.38 crore paid to 59,852 beneficiaries.
