The maximum temperature rose to 39.2 degrees celsius, four degrees above normal, while the minimum temperature settled at 30.2 degrees, three notches above normal Thursday. Chennai: Two men were arrested on charges of abducting and assaulting a 39-year-old lodge owner in Nolambur over a ₹15lakh debt. The two had also attempted to transfer ownership of his house in lieu of the debt.The complainant, Priyadarshan of Brindavan Avenue in Nolambur, had borrowed ₹22.5lakh from Senguttuvan to construct a lodge and repaid ₹7.5lakh.
