Shillong: Three children were electrocuted in Ri Bhoi district on Wednesday after touching a fallen power line.The incident occurred around 2 pm at Umtangling village under Umiam police station, when the children came in contact with a live 11kV overhead power line that snapped and fell across a village road.All three died on the spot, officials said. Pune: A 65-year-old warkari was killed after being hit by a car in Baramati late on Wednesday night. The Pune Rural police identified the deceased as Vishnu Ramchandra Pawar.The police said the accident occurred after the driver lost control of the car. “The Sant Tukaram Maharaj Palkhi had halted in Baramati on Wednesday night.
