Bengaluru: Bengaluru residents can now order small LPG cylinders on Swiggy Instamart without a regular domestic LPG connection, as the quick-commerce platform expands into a tightly regulated household category. Instamart, in partnership with state-run Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Ltd (HPCL), has begun a pilot in parts of Uttarahalli and Subramanyapura, a company spokesperson told TOI. Chennai: A 19-year-old biker, a city college student, crashed into the parapet of the Anbazhagan Flyover in T Nagar, fell off the bridge and died on Tuesday.Police said R Sandeep was on his way to meet his friend when he lost control of his motorcycle while riding across the Anbazhagan flyover. After the crash, he suffered severe head injuries. Onlookers alerted the police who rushed to the spot, rescued Sandeep and admitted him to the Govt Royapettah Hospital. Ahmedabad: Gujarat University completed the first round of postgraduate admissions, with a total of 4,118 seats allotted across various programmes. Prayagraj: Two persons, including a ward boy of Beli Hospital, were arrested on Tuesday for allegedly beating a 42-year-old man to death earlier this month.Police said Manoj Kumar had reportedly wandered out of the hospital wards and entered a residential area within the hospital campus on July 5.
