Guwahati: Assam released the fourth instalment of flood assistance on Tuesday and announced expanded foreign-language training for overseas employment.CM Himanta Biswa Sarma launched the release of Rs 15,000 each to 16,746 flood-affected families in Sivasagar, Charaideo and Jorhat. A total of Rs 25.12 crore was transferred, taking interim flood assistance released so far to Rs 175.64 crore for 1,17,095 households.The govt has also provided support for bank moratoriums and insurance claims following the floods.
