Ahmedabad: Residents of private housing societies and premises across Ahmedabad will now have to pay charges for tree trimming and disposal of green waste, with Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation’s (AMC) Heritage and Recreation Committee approving a proposal to introduce the new fees on Monday.Under the proposed policy, residents will have to pay Rs 100 for trimming trees within private society premises, while Rs 150 per tractor trip will be charged for transporting and disposing of the green waste generated from the trimming.
