Repairs on the main trunk line have necessiated the cut Ahmedabad: Water supply will remain shut in several areas of the city’s West Zone on Tuesday evening as AMC repairs a major pipeline leak. A breach occurred in the 1,600mm diameter western trunk main line that supplies water from Kotarpur Water Works to distribution stations across Sabarmati, Nava Vadaj, Naranpura, Stadium, Navrangpura, Paldi and Vasna wards in the West Zone.
